Other Canadian winners included Anne Émond, who won the Jay Scott Prize for Les êtres chères (Our Loved Ones) as an emerging artist (the film, screens with Forbidden Room, Sleeping Giant and Internship as part of Canada's Top Ten next week... so check back for a review!), while Deepa Mehta gave the Clyde Gimour Prize to filmmaker Nisha Pahuja (The World Before Her). All other winners were announced in December.
